Vampire Facelift | Platelet-Rich Plasma Facial

The Vampire FaceLift derives its name from the fact that it utilises your own blood to extract powerfully rejuvenating platelet rich plasma (PRP), which has a high concentration of growth factors which are responsible for our bodies’ regeneration and repair.

The Vampire FaceLift is based on the idea that the body’s own healing qualities can help to slow down the ageing process. The Vampire Facelift is effective because it utilises the body’s natural capabilities, is minimally invasive, and requires little downtime. It can address evidence of facial ageing both below and on the skin’s surface, resulting in re-volumisation, more collagen stimulation, and a more radiant complexion.

This therapy is commonly used on the face, especially around the eyes, mouth, and nose, as well as the backs of the hands, scars, and all over the body, most commonly the décolletage as well as the knees, to reinvigorate and rejuvenate skin.

The Vampire Facelift helps with:

Wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks can all be improved.

Smoothing out skin, generating a more refined skin surface

Rejuvenate the region around the eyes.

Open pores are made smaller.

Any area, E.g. cheeks can be plumped and volumised

Our Process

A platelet-rich fibrin matrix is produced from a patient’s own red blood cells and is the most important component of a Vampire Facelift. In a centrifuge, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and other blood components are separated and mixed with a hyaluronic acid-based filler to generate a platelet rich fibrin matrix (PRFM). This is then injected into the areas that require treatment to improve collagen formation, blood flow, soft tissue healing, skin growth, and fat tissue regeneration naturally.

Because the treatment involves injections, it can be mildly uncomfortable. However, a topical anaesthetic can be used to reduce any discomfort, and most patients find the procedure to be extremely bearable, with many reporting no pain at all.

Side effects:

Immediately after the procedure, you can expect some bruising, swelling and redness at the injection sites. You may also experience some tenderness, bruise and pain at the injection sites. However, any side effects should dissipate within one to two days. Within 48 hours, swelling, redness, flaking, and sensitivity disappear. For one week, patients are instructed not to exercise. It’s also a good idea to keep your sun exposure to a minimum.

How often are treatments needed?

As with other types of micro-needling, you’ll require more than one treatment to see full results. Most people need anywhere from three to six sessions, with one session done about every four weeks.
